Gijón is the perfect place to be in summer. You have the choice of beaches, numerous parks, there are bicycles to rent and an abundance of cycle-tracks to take you along the river, río Piles, you can surf, enjoy the traditional asturian market in the Plaza Mayor, attend free concerts in a number of venues, sometimes on the beach...yes for free!! Just come and see for yourself!
